The Postman Always Rings Twice

At the very last minute I decided to get tickets to see the theater production of "The Postman Always Rings Twice" tonight. It was billed to star Val Kilmer, but when I got there, I was told that he was not in the show as he was ill. I could have exchanged the ticket for another day but I was there to see the production not the actor. His understudy did the job fine.

Again this was a show I had not seen the movie before, and don't know why not. It does not have a postman in it though. I always thought it was about a postman, and used to call it "The Postman Never Rings Twice" because postmen never do!. This was a story about lust, adultery, murder and love.
