Benihana

On a very rare treat from work, we went for dinner at Benihana in Picadilly, being a good point in the project, and since Guilhem was leaving. I say it is a treat because we work so hard these days and rarely get rewarded for all the hardwork.

It is a great place to go and a change from the usual because there is the chef who chops and cooks your food in front of you. Only problem is you leave smelling like you have been working in a kitchen for hours!!

We ordered a variety of meals that we shared between 10 of us. We were quite fortunate to have this chatty chef - oriental (from the Philippines) but with a Cockney accent!! He was funny, talking about feeding his wife and family who lived under the table with the scraps from the cooking!! And flirting with the girls at the table!! We had a good laugh, but it was a great send off for Guilhem because he was learning to be Cockney!!
