Shopping Sisters

On Sunday 22 October, my sister Ai Li arrived in London. She was here for 1 week for a few meetings. I picked her up from the airport at about 6:30am, so it was an early day for me. When we got home, I had a nap and then we headed to Portsmouth for some shopping at the Gunwharf Quays. When we got there the roads to the shopping centre was closed due to the Great South Run so we detoured into the town. It was raining so we stopped at Matalan. There were some sale going on and Ai Li bought quite a lot of clothes for the boys and herself. After the roads reopened we headed to Gunwharf Quays which has outlet shops. More shopping took place. When we got home, Ai Li counted that she bought about 54 items of clothing for about £200. Mainly the clothes for kids were about £2 each and adult clothes were about £5 or £6. What a bargain!!

During the week, she stayed at the hotels provided by her company. On Wednesday, we met up with Kenneth for dinner at the Groucho Grill, yummy steaks!! She left on Friday night, so on Thursday late night we went to Tesco so she could shop for treats. This was at about 11 pm because I had dinner with my colleagues.
